Roof Replacement Mosman

I rarely, if ever, write reviews about anything. I am too busy because my wife and I both work and we are at that busy stage of family life.

However, I am making an exception for Platinum Roofing Specialists.

Platinum Roofing Specialists replaced our roof in August. The end-to-end experience far exceeded our expectations.

This was a big financial investment for us. It is something that we had to save for, and not something we took on lightly.

Actual works

• We cannot fault the work Platinum Roofing did.
• It looks fantastic and has surely added value to our property.
• Platinum Roofing added, after discussion, several touches like finials (I didn’t know what these were before researching roofs). They advised on design, spacing etc.
• The peace of mind from knowing we don’t have to worry about leaks is wonderful (and we really don’t worry).
• The house feels noticeably different inside due to the thicker insulation.

Communication

• From the point of initial contact to the completion of works, Platinum Roofing’s communication was faultless.
• This really helped make the process less stressful as there was no waiting or uncertainty.
• They responded cheerfully, clearly and effectively seven days a week promptly.
• They worked with us on dates to suit our travel plans, school holidays etc.
• No problem was ever too big or small, and we got fast and effective responses.
• It is not often that one meets such a positive can-do group of people. I wish them every success. They deserve it.

Working on-site

• Platinum Roofing’s team was about half a dozen strong.
• All the team were very polite, friendly and helpful with any questions while on site.
• Safety was also carefully adhered to, which was important for us because we have young kids.
• In addition to the contracted and agreed works, Platinum Roofing also fixed several things like removing a redundant TV aerial and Foxtel dish the former owners had left and we didn’t want.

How we found Platinum Roofing

• We found Platinum Roofing by walking our neighbourhood and looking at houses who had replaced their roofs.
• It’s a friendly community, so we asked these people who replaced their roof, whether they would recommend them, and what the experience was like.
• Platinum came up several times.

Related works

• As part of the roof replacement, we also wanted other works like solar and bathroom exhaust fans. Platinum Roofing provided details for these contractors who were just as effective as Platinum Roofing. To the extent that we stopped bothering gets quotes from elsewhere and just asked Platinum Roofing for them.
